Terms and Conditions

By engaging tutoring services from The Elite Traveling Tutors, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

Student Terms

  1. Students must come prepared with all necessary materials (textbooks, notes, assignments) for each tutoring session.

  2. For the initial session, parents must provide tutors with the student's report cards, Lexile scores, reading data, STAR scores (if applicable), homework assignments, GED practice tests/GED tests (if applicable), and most recent IEP.

  3. Students must actively participate by asking questions, taking notes, and engaging during sessions.

  4. Students must arrive on time for scheduled sessions and provide at least 24 hours' notice if canceling or rescheduling.

  5. Students shall not ask tutors to complete assignments, provide answers, or engage in any academically dishonest activities.

  6. Students/Parents must provide feedback on any concerns or suggestions for improvement.

 

Parent Terms

  1. Provide TETT with access to student's school portal and/or homework assignments 24 hours before each session.

  2. Parents must encourage their child to share homework information and areas of academic concern with the tutor.

  3. Parents must encourage their child's attendance at all scheduled tutoring sessions.

  4. Parents must stay in touch with the tutor regarding the child's session progress.

Tutor Terms

  1. Tutors must review the student's course materials and assignments prior to each session.

  2. Tutors must create a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment tailored to the student's needs.

  3. Tutors must maintain full confidentiality regarding the student's personal information.

  4. Tutors must conduct all sessions professionally and ethically, avoiding any inappropriate behavior.

  5. Tutors must provide constructive guidance and feedback, but not complete student assignments.

  6. Tutors must provide practice opportunities, examples, drills, and refer students to helpful resources.

  7. Tutors must attend all scheduled sessions, provide 24 hours' notice if rescheduling, wait 15 minutes before marking a "no-show", and inform the director of any excessive student "no-shows".

  8. Tutors must provide weekly 15-minute online check-in sessions.

 

Pricing and Scheduling

  1. Private tutoring is $65/hour for one subject and $60/hour for each additional subject.

  2. Group sessions (students at same subject/skill level) are $50 per student.

  3. A recommended 4-session monthly commitment is required, paid in advance.

  4. Invoices are issued monthly and include processing fees and taxes.

  5. Late payments after the 5th of the month incur a $10 late fee.

  6. One make-up session is allowed per student per quarter.

  7. 24 hours' notice is required to cancel a session or it will be forfeited.

  8. 30 days' notice is required to cancel ongoing services to avoid additional charges.

  9. No refunds are provided for tutoring services, however any pre-paid fees can be converted into future tutoring sessions upon request.

  10. Summer boot camps are separately priced with all courses online only.

 

Photo Release By initialing below, you consent to allowing The Elite Traveling Tutors to use pictures of the student for promotional purposes including flyers, website, and social media:

The Elite Traveling Tutors reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms and conditions.

Distance Learning

Privacy Policies

We do not disclose your personal information except in the following circumstances:

  • To tutors and staff members who need the information to provide tutoring services effectively.

  • If required by law, such as cooperating with law enforcement or court orders.

  • To protect our company's rights and property.

 

Your information is never shared for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Security - We implement reasonable technical, physical, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of trans-mission over the Internet or storage is 100% secure

Children's Privacy - Our services are focused on providing tutoring to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

Your Rights and Choices - You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to this Policy - We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website, so we encourage you to review the policy regularly.
